A - Act your age? I have seen what growing uop does to people and I want no part of it.
B - Born what day of the week? I don't know. I was very young at the time..
C - Chore you hate? Laundry.
D - Dad's name? Colin
E - Essential make up item? Only in the sense that I'll make anything up. If you mean cosmetics. None (well, anti-pong, of course).
F - Favorite Actor? Hard to say. Judging by the number of times he's made an appearance in DVDs I've bought recently I'd have to say Guy Pierce, for some reason....
G - Gold or Silver? I have no preference.
H - Hometown? Welligton, Shropshire.
I - Instruments you play? I have been known to play the fool. Quite often in fact.
J - Job Title? Policy Advisor. Sounds good, but means nowt. I made it up myself.
K - Kids? None.
L - Living arrangements? A sarf London Garret. Two tiny rooms in the attic of a mad Polish/Russian lady. There seems to be a rotating contingent of about a dozen Polish girls who live here too. But only one who actulally says anything other than 'hello'.
M - Mom's name? Betty
N - Number of people you've slept with? Surely it's the ones I've stayed awake with that's more interesting. And on that I'll say no more.
O - Overnight hospital stays? Not that I know of. Except being born.
P - Phobia? Heights mainly. Scare me rotten. But I'm a bit of a yellerbelly anyway.
Q - Quote you like? "If I could do it all over again, I'd do it all over you" Actually that's an album title, but I like it.
R - Religious affiliation? Theoretically CofE, but nothing, really.
S - Siblings? Younger sister.
T - Time you wake up? A number of times unfortunately. But not enough to stop me dozing off again as a rule. I have arranged things so I don't have to drag myuself out of my pit until around 9am, so I can sit up allnight doing this sort of thing.
U - Unique habit? Dunno. But I seems to have too many frock coats..
V - Vegetable you refuse to eat? Asparagus. The vegetable anchovie..
T - Worst habit? Laziness.
X - X-rays? Through my eyes. And occasionally heat vision.
Y - Yummy food you make? The Big Belly Burger. Though not often.
Z - Zodiac Sign? Aquarius.

As to militaria, it largely depends on what it is you've inherited! I'm interested in military history and militaria, but know more about the former than the latter.

Date: 2003-04-27 03:06 am (UTC)The piece I inherited is a handmade scaled down model of a WW2 naval cannon gun - I know it was exhibited in a few museums in Ireland & I know the name of the maker, but beyond that I don't know too much about it & it's proving difficult to find all the details ... my family don't want me to sell it, so they're being pretty quiet about it but I'd rather put it up for auction & buy a nice big concert harp :D
