It’s a month today since I started this job and the Deputy Director is moving on. The new one starts at the end of the month and is the Deputy Director from my old division.
In the meantime, come the end of September, the Director retires and our division gets reorganised back into my old directorate, so we will be back working for my old Director, too. It is impossible to escape – the gravity well is too strong.
Still. It ain’t boring. Yet.
