For all comics nerds out there, I understand that Marvel have struck a deal with Neil Gaiman to reprint the run of Miracleman comics from the old Eclipse1 run, and allow Neil Gaiman to complete the story line.

Quite where Todd McFarlane, who contests the copyright ownership, figures in all this, I don't know. Interestingly, because Marvel are willing to republish under their banner, I understand that the character will revert to his original name of Marvelman.

Believe it when you see it, chaps.

1Yes, I know it all started many moons ago in Warrior...

I believe Mr McFarlane's defence consisted of covering his ears with his hands and shouting "Nah nah nah, I can't hear you" every time this is mentioned now...

I have the first 3 graphic novels signed by Alan Moore - perhaps I should stick them on Ebay asap!?

There's loads of Miracleman stuff out there, but the sigs may make the difference.

I have a copy of Miracleman #1 signed by Gary Leach.

..and I've got the original art for page 2 of "Blue Murder", which has always been "Marvelman".

And yet, no sign of Marvelman on it, beyond the transformation negative!

Largely my thoughts on the matter, too.
