It's Frosty, Man
Monday, November 14th, 2005 08:02 amNovember 14th and it's the first frost of the winter here in North London. The first scraper of the year normally crops up toward the end of October; what odds that cold winter we were forecast?
Even that's a disappointing forecast mind. The boards for the Express & Star were trumpeting the coldest winter for years forecast a few weeks back. It turns out the met office have been saying that there is a 65% chance of the winter being very cold.
Hmm... that'll be 50/50 then, seasonally adjusted. It might be chilly, it might not. Great forecast.

Date: 2005-11-14 11:17 am (UTC)It's nice to know this place can sing tunes other than Bloody Hot. It's supposedly going to get a lot colder tomorrow, as Canada once again tries to export her air. We shall see.
Happy scraping.

Date: 2005-11-14 06:42 pm (UTC)There's got to be somewhere in this huge-ass country that has perfect weather, neither too hot nor too cold, not humid, mountains nearby and hell, might as well have a coast too.
There is, of course. Sadly, it's called California.
