Strained. As in prunes....

Oh dear.
For some reason this year, I feel the strain is beginning to get to me, too. At least as far as NWO is concerned.
When we ran Thebes last year, I don't remember this level of last minute frantic activity. But then I don't have much of a memory. What I do remember is that last time I had the comparative luxury of being able to get chunks of the work done in spare moments in the office. This hasn't happened this time, so it's been a question of coming home then sitting at the PC again and writing.
Last time, too, for much of the time there was a cadre of writers in London whom I could tab for ideas without disturbing the entire team. This time we are more diffuse around the country, and although there has been a number of 'ref-meets' I've only managed 2 of them.
Still, we're nearly there. Friday looms and all will be well. We have a jolly good plot line, some excellent character sheets and some talentedplayer scum players and some imaginative and adaptable, if horror-stricken, refs. And me.
Ninety players. Eight refs. Two-and-a-half days of open-air freeform role play.
What could possibly go wrong?
