An enigma wrapped in a mystery (free non sequitur)

Such is the quite possibly irreconcilably split nature of your correspondent, that he is torn between maintaining complete silence and providing some kind of commentary. As ever, that part of my brain that demands attention has won out, but only under the stern injunction from the rest of my psyche, that no one should be any the wiser once the task is complete.
That in mind, and operating under the freedom gained by accidentally double-dosing on painkillers, I shall therefore, with a smile redolent with Mona Lisa mystery and with a sphinx-like hauteur merely list a few words and phrases, so that you, my dear and only reader, can do with them as you please:
I now take my leave of you to get on with reading the back of the box of painkillers to see when it will be safe to top up.
In the meantime, I'd forgotten just how good Camel's Snow Goose is.
