Did you ever...

... get the feeling that maybe you had upset, crossed, miffed or derailed someone, but didn't know how, when, or why and have no idea if it's even true or not and if so, what to do about it?

Because I've had that feeling for a couple of weeks, now.

It's very odd, and may well simply be me suffering from modified paranoia brought on by my increasingly House-like dependence on painkillers.

I must bite the bullet and go to the dentist. Except that when you need to go to the dentist, biting the bullet is unwise.

And painful.

Someone in particular or just a general feeling?

Aye and there's the rub...

Someone in particular.

But I don't want to say anything in case it's all drug-induced paranoia...

just ask 'em, in a nice relaxed kind of way. Best way out of it.

And if you don't go to the dentist I will drag you there myself and nobody wants that! Leave it too long and it will only get bursty!

All the time.

Depending on who it is, how big the offence feels, or how apparently frosty the person is after I'll try and investigate.

I thought biting the bullet merely referred to gripping it with your teeth as you pull away the cartridge.

Apart from the dentist part.

Best sorted surely

Often these things are just paranoia, especially if you are feeling under the weather.

Doesn't do to let them linger though (kind of like tootache!)

Phone the dentist.

They will then laugh hollowly as you suggest you'd like an appointment before 2008, and you can feel you've done your bit.

Yes, my co-worker in this tiny rabbit-hutch of an office is one moody little madam. Luckily, she's not mean, so I put on the headphones, listen to blues, do my work and leave the huffy harpy to it.

Well at least it's not the whole world, mind you if it was then you could put it down to paranoia.

Make ammends young man, and make the bloody dentist's appointment, you cannot live by pain killer alone.

Nag officially over.
