I think that the Athenaeum Club has become a plague pit.
I knew that I would be worn out after the weekend and took today off to recuperate. I didn't expect to spend it feeling headachy, generally grotty and with an intermittent cough. I am out to Boots in a short while to buy all manner of cold relief goodies and stuff to help me breathe - especially at night (good old Olbas Oil). I feel that it is probably no mere coincidence that both

And so, off to the pharmacy I go. It's just started raining.
Marvellous.
