There's about a dozen coppers and one very vocal demonstrator outside.

I think he is protesting against animal vivisection, though I can't be entirely sure through the glass, two storeys up.

Quite where the other protestors are, I don't know. I expect they are a mile or so away, outside the correct Department (Department of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, or DEFRA), wondering where the police presence is.

But pointless, really.

There used to be a little clutch of vegetarian anti-vivisection/pro farm animal protesters who picketed the Welsh office, where the Min of Ag used to be. After my fourth encounter, I found it in my heart to tell them they were in the wrong place. They were less gracious than I'd hoped and might still be there for all I know.
