That's ok, apparently insomnia is quite fond of you.
I know how crushing it can be, but I have no advice for getting to sleep really. Whenever I'm going through a bout of it I use sleeping tablets. If you have no choice then the British over-the-counter stuff is fine, but if you can get hold of any from the United States try AlkaSeltzer"PM" (I thought they just made hangover cures - but in the Colonies they do a whole range of better-living-through-science fizzy remedies).
I do housework, That soon makes me tired and sleepy. If the only housework is noisy stuff like vacuum cleaning then I sort through the pile of papers waiting for filing or I read a boring book.
