Grim news.

Might they have employed the same renovations team that did for Windsor Castle?

If they find the culprit they should bring back hanging drawing and quartering as a special one off...and televise it !

I am really angry how this could happen. The way the fire totally gutted the vessel so quickly seems to suggest that fire prevention measures didn't appear to be in place.

More than 50% of the planking was not there because it had already been removed for conservation, the masts are stored in a warehouse, also receiving conservation. A lot of the ironwork is also elsewhere so the fire damage is not as great as was first thought. The police have CCTV of people hanging around and the little scrotes will be caught, have their hand patted - oh no we're not allowed to touch people now incase they scream abuse and demand monetary compensation for their trauma - they will be severely told off, in a positive way, and let loose to burn again. The inmates have truely taken over the asylum ~~~huge sigh~~~

Keelhaul them!

...Have we still got an aircraft carrier?

Actually, yes, we still have 3 carriers.

But all ships have a keel, so for that purpose, we don't need them.

...yes. but with an Aircraft carrier, a blaggard only needs to be keelhauled ONCE to guarantee the desired result.

Our carriers are only small; originally they were classified as "Through-Deck Cruisers" on account of the fact only helicopters and jump jets could use them. Perhaps the US Navy will lend us one of their nuclear powered monsters for the purpose?

Once across the keel of one of those babies would definitely be enough.
