You remember that last week I said that if they never made another Doctor Who episode, I'd be happy because that story was so well written and so well realised? You remember that last week I said that the two-parter, "Human Nature" and "Family of Blood" had gone straight to the top of my personal list of favourites?

I'm not sure it's still there. I think I have a new favourite story line.

"Don't blink.

Blink and you're dead.

Don't look away.

Don't turn your back.

And don't even blink.

Good luck!"

How many kids are crapping themselves at the sight of a statue tonight? Fantastic.

Yep,... and "Blink and you're dead!" is a good one to throw at the kiddies too!

That was an awesome storyline. It's gone way past the other eps in this series and surpassed any older stories that I remember.

a new favourite story line

You will enjoy it, I'm sure.

It is the "Doctor-lite" episode for the season, so you get to see all the oddity from the point of view of the guest star. Very nicely done.

Don't even blink.

Manoman! Outstanding! Certainly one of the best episodes to show to someone who's not already a viewer.

That scared the everliving crap out of me, let alone any small children watching...wow!

Absolute genius episode, lacked the pathos of "Family" but my word it was scary.

You wait all season for a decent storyline and then two materialise at once. That rocked. We watched it again last night and it's quite magnificent and on a par with the Empty Child. Actually scary, well-paced, extremely clever, some gems of dialogue and tons o' fun all round. Everything great Dr Who should be.
