caddymanIt's only taken eight years to get round to watching it, but I watched Topsy Turvy on DVD tonight. I've actually owned it several months but just now got around to watching it.
Mike Leigh should make more movies like this instead of his usual worthy-but-boring fare. When I grow up I want to be Jim Broadbent (though if that job is taken, I shall accept the part of Bill Nighy). Lovely movie, well acted, well scripted and well filmed. I shall have to watch it again at some point soon.
Oh well, bed I guess. It's Furtle's zoo excursion tomorrow. The penguins better be entertaining.
