It amused me, anyway:


Two nuns are riding their bicycles down the back streets of The Vatican. The first nun leans over to the other and says, "I've never come this way before."

The second nun whispers, "It's the cobblestones. Aren’t they wonderful?"

OK it took me a while to work that one out!

I did think that the whole joke rather depended on the nun's bicycles not being equipped with dampeners to reduce the vibrations. On the other hand, those nuns could be hyper-sensitive to the gentlest of bumps on the roads, cobbled or not. So that casts some doubt on the joke as well.
