It amused me, anyway:


Two nuns are riding their bicycles down the back streets of The Vatican. The first nun leans over to the other and says, "I've never come this way before."

The second nun whispers, "It's the cobblestones. Aren’t they wonderful?"

The memories come flooding back: A certain Mr N Burton told me that joke when we were teenagers, but he spoilt it by delivering the punchline as "I've never been this way before." So I laughed at the dear lad's nerkiness rather than the joke.
