Sorry to bring up Serious Business. Our dog started attacking her back paws when she had brain cancer, it's why we had to have her put down.

years ago that dog would have been thought to be possessed by a demon. What got me was the maniacal laughter in the background, why would anyone laugh at their pet when it was so obviously not right - possessed I tell you! all of them!

I'm not sure there is anything wrong with it I've seen perfectly healthy dogs do stuff like that, some mutts get stupidly possessive over bones to the point of spooking themselves like this.
