Suddenly no free weekends.

What is going on?

Most of the summer has wandered past in a long procession of empty and boring weekends. A social desert if youm like, with the odd oasis here and there.

Now, as we crawl through August and toward September, I find my weekends filling up fast and increasing opportunities for double or even triple bookings. And trying to find a weekend so all the NWO writers vcan meet up and bludgeon out plot-lines for youse lot's playing enjoyment is proving to be a miserable task.

I missed more than one of these conflabs last time round which meant I was always playing catch up on plot-lines and several ideas I wanted to include fell by the wayside. And since I have a number of ideas for this time round, I really want to be able to push them a bit.

Ho-hum. We'll sort something, I guess.

How have you managed to have so many free weekends? We had one, count them, one, in about the last three months, which we spent trying to rein in the front garden.

I guess not all of the weekends were completely occupied, but a lot of them were...
