trav28 at this point before I write anything else. I should have missed this little lot in its entirety had he not posted to his journal.
This would be the official Watchmen movie website, chronicling the development of the movie, which is a few months into shooting. However it turns out, initial pictures suggest that the look of the alternative New York is about right:

and what looks like a certain gentleman walking by...

I'd like to see some of these in their union suits and makeup; they don't look quite the way they should. But hey, that's what the FX and Art Departments are for...
