It's either feet of clay or laryngitis and I fear it's the former.

It is never good when you find out that one of the icons of the century may have sold out! There was a new Cillit Bang! advert shown on ITV last night presented as usual by the iconic Barry Scott.

At no point did he SHOUT!

Over here, there is a car commercial on TV lately, in which the camera is inside the moving vehicle, looking forward through the windshield, over the anonymous driver's shoulder. The first time I saw it, I thought, "hey, from here the driver looks like Bob Dylan." At the end of the ad, the driver is standing (a bit unsteadily) near the car - and it bloody-well is Bob Dylan. Now, the fellow has meant nothing, culturally, for almost forty years, so no-one born after 1970 will care, but I was still disappointed at such a sell-out.
