Creepy Swedish Guy has manifested a new and worrisome ability.

Maintaining the tradition established a fortnight ago, I rambled into Totteridge and Whetsone station late and there, shortly afterwards, was Creepy Swedish Guy. When the train arrived a couple of minutes later, he got on to the carriage in front of mine.

Now, since we were on the Charing Cross branch train, it meant that once we got to Euston, the change to the Victoria Line entails wandering the length of the platform and walking through a few passages before getting the escalator down to the southbound platform. CSG would have been behind me as we walked.

When I got to the Victoria Line platform, I again walked the length of the platform as is my custom, since the train is generally emptier towards the back and sometimes there are spare seats. CSG was nowhere to be seen, so I assumed that he had either stayed on the Northern Line or gone somewhere else. Like me he normally uses the back of the train so he can sit and read.

There was a fair old wait for the train as there were reported problems at Green Park; still no sign of CSG. But here’s the thing: when the train pulled in, I got into the last carriage and so did he. He materialised out of nowhere and got on the train. He has either mastered invisibility or teleportation.

Maybe that’s why I see so little of him these days…

In fact he looks a little like Agent X-2-Zero from Stingray...

Except that CSG has blond hair with a slight comb over and is not green.

X2zero's voice was (I think) supposed to sound like Peter Lorre's. If you ever hear CSG speak, or if you even - gasp-o! - talk to him yourself, you'll find out if his does too. Now that would be creepy.

Ahhh,

Actually, that face reminds me of a Tory ex-Minister - perhaps Nigel Lawson.

The answer is simple, he converted treasure to experience and went up two levels - invisibility AND teleport. I rest my DM screen and magic dice.
