I have not yet started packing; I shall do that shortly while Furtle is Warcrafting. She has broken the back of her packing requirements, though it is likely that a decant into another bag (one with wheels and a handle, similar to the one, for instance, that I have been trying to lend her...) will be needed.

As a final run through the stuff she needs to take, she asked me to read her (very long) checklist back to her.

Now, I'm not saying that her handwriting leaves something to be desired, but amongst the bits I could decipher, there were these gems that had us rolling around in mirth:

Eye Mash, which turned out to be the less alarming eye mask (for sleeping on the plane);
Tit Paste(!), which it transpires is rather less interesting "T&T paste" or toothbrush and toothpaste;
fissures, which I managed to decode into the more reasonable tissues; and finally,
Dead Rat, which I am assured is the rather less pungent and more fragrant deodorant.

Travel with Furtle is not dull by any means.

does this entry have a "not suitable for children" sticker because of the tit paste?
That is so extraordinary! who is policing this? is it a machine somewhere? can we defeat such things?
Are we to be controlled by robots? I prayed that it would not happen in my lifetime but it seems that whatsisname was only 20 years ahead of time when he wrote 1984.

Yes, I was a bit wary when I saw the warning blurb, in case you had included a diagram or photo of t** paste in action. The mind boggles, fairly it do.

Got rid of it; didn't realise it put a bloody great banner over my generally inoffensive LJ.

Don't panic; I think the answer is more prosaic than that.

Earlier on today I was scooting through the settings on the information page and saw that a few new options had appeared, including the ability to label your own journal as dealing with "adult themes". Well, I don't do that very often in the sense of "unseemly" material, but I do occasionally let rip in a fashion that might upset the ultra sensitive.

Given the background grumbles on various websites, I thought that if I labeled my own journal in such a fashion, anyone delicate enough to be offended would only have themselves to blame.

Of course, I just logged of to see what it looks like to other people and decided it was too much.

I have dropped the damned thing; too much hassle.

AH hahahahahaha What got me was the fact that all I had to do to see it was click on a button that confirmed I was over 14 years old!!!

So if you are over 14 tit paste will not corrupt your tender sensibilities.

Just remember to lock it if you let rip - oi loikes it when you does tha' it makes I larf
