The final few pictures to complete the TARDIS build.

Now I really have to get on with assembling and painting the Doctor and Martha. I guess that I shall bore you all rigid with those in due course, too.



The final model TARDIS. Assembly complete, dry brush highlights added, decals and weathering applied.



Build and base painting complete.


Dry brush highlights applied to bring out woodgrain effect.


Roof assembly removed to allow over wash to add weathering.


Weathering completed; paint still a little damp.


Model completed: weathering finished, decals added.

I presume that you are building the scale model of Martha so that you can jab hot pins into it in an attempt to recreate tribal magic? I would very much like to see photographs of that, or perhaps of her being melted in a microwave.

despite the fact that i'm such a DW geek i not only commissioned a tom baker scarf when i was a senior in high school, but that this scarf was a SEASON FIFTEEN SCARF as The Image Of The Fendahl (one of only 3 stories with this scarf) was the first DW story i'd seen, i have never done anything as geeky as building my own TARDIS model.


maybe, someday, we'll be within a hundred miles of one another and i'll be privileged to buy you dinner and some drinks if you're into that sort of thing.
