This is really an addendum to my previous post on the subject.

To preserve ladkyis' sanity (for she seems to believe that model making is a sign too far of my deep-rooted geekiness, and that I should know better at my age! ;-p) I have hidden the



Blue pinstripe added using water colour pencil and fixing with matte varnish. Once legs are complete and pinstriped, there will be a wash of base coat added to dull the blue, then a darker wash to bring out the creases.

Arms are brown as the sleeves are from the Doctor's trench coat.

Note the difference in colour between this and earlier posts, highlighting the benefits of natural over lamp light. The flesh tones were all created under natural light to prevent them looking jaundiced. Base coats of other colours on clothing are less dependent upon this.

the sigh was for David Tennant not for geekiness silly! even at my age I can appreciate the yum factor.

I have painted figures you know, made dioramas and despaired of ever finishing a gnome army for Warhammer. Yep a gnome army and a halfling SAS unit. I do appreciate the fine detail of the work so far and I am impressed.

Oh and I forgot to sat that I too have been busy today, inspite of still coughing for Britain. I have made the pages of a maze-book. I intend making the covers and doing the decorating tonight when little fingers are in bed and therefore out of the glue pot and away from the deckle edge paper cutters.
