Lunchtime already!

caddymanMonday at home is nice, though to be frank I could have done without the latest trip to the bloody dentist. That's it for now though I have to go back in June for the second bit of work with the hygienist who spent this session using a machine to make alarming sounds in my mouth before saying she hadn't got time to finish. The fact that my gnashers are the same colour as I can get them with a toothbrush suggests that I have been repointed rather than polished. She would like me to consider an electric toothbrush for about £35 too. I wonder is she has shares in Braun?
Ho hum.

colonel_maxim set up his new laptop. The only real problem thus far being in making the USB blue tooth mouse work. Once we found that all we really needed to do was put in some decent batteries rather than the crap supplied by the manufacturer, we were away. Making the mental leap to Vista from XP might be a giggle, but other than that all seems well.
As it's just turned 1pm I think I shall investigate a spot of lunch before lolling away the afternoon in suitable lackadaisical fashion. I had thought about wandering down to Finchley to acquire a cafetiere, but the sudden burst of cold rain has put me off that idea; I had enough of that on Saturday, thank you very much. Maybe I shall do some model-making; I haven't made any progress on the Martha fugure for a fortnight, or maybe I shall draw, or read, or sleep or watch telly.
The world, as they say, is my lobster.
