The UN is forcing RTD to trample on my childhood, damn them!
ETA: In fact this is probably total bollocks. It seems that the Beeb have not been asked not to call UNIT the 'United Nations Intelligence Task Force' by the UN. Rather, the UN were getting fed up with the swathe of fan websites that refer(red) to UNIT and the consequent queries they (the UN) were getting.
Rusty changed it as a courtesy. Now geekdom is enraged. My grumble was lighthearted, by the way. Now we know, we know it's still UNIT see. Inside information. My childhood is no longer trampled on, merely swept into the corner to stop it being trod on.
