Sprung a leak

We haven't done a great deal today other than rediscovering how much food has gone up recently. Even discounting the bottle of gin and the bottles of tonic, a shop that included no meat came to just under forty quid. We thought it would be much cheaper as we had done a large shop a couple of weeks back and the freezer is still crammed with stuff.

Having agreed that we would do the housework tomorrow morning when it is cooler, Furtle suddenly got fidgety feet and hoovered downstairs and cleaned the kitchen floor. I'll do the same tomorrow morning for upstairs. When it's cooler...

It was while downstairs shifting stuff around that we realised that the Carpathia had sprung a leak, or rather one of the radiators had. I'm not sure how, but it could only have happened minutes before we noticed it because the water was flowing too fast and the pool too small for it to have been going on for long. I have stopped it by tightening the nut and screw on the radiator and I turned the entire radiator off too, just to be on the safe side (the pump isn't putting anything around at the moment anyway, it's not as if we need it!).

Any road up; we have swabbed the decks and everything is ship-shape and Bristol fashion once again, so I shall wander off and investigate then watching of videos or DVD since there is absolutely nothing of merit on TV tonight.
