Skool trips

How odd. I just got my specs out and the left lens was left lying in the case. The frame is not broken, not even loose and the lens has snapped back into place and is being held snugly enough. It needed a fair old polish, though, as if every paw print in Christendom had descended on it at the same time. It’s almost as if the lens had been popped deliberately…

One of the downsides of the late to work, late home strategy I employ to miss the rush hour is the number of school trips I encounter on my work bound journey. It’s not that the little blighters are particularly badly behaved, but they are loud and boisterous and possessed of more energy than I think I ever had, even at their age. Of course, in those days, energy was measured in imperial conkers rather than modern metric tofus, and I’ve never really been at ease with my understanding the conversion process, so it may be that I was as energetic, boisterous and loud as they, but in a more copper-wired analogue way.

And I don’t remember my teachers being that young, either.

I would lend you superglue for your glasses, but it's all in my hair.

It is helping to prevent male pattern baldness? Or for kinky purposes? Or am I just being way too mature?

By the way Bry, that avatar STILL creeps me out.

The teachers were that young, but prematurely grey and haggard within a year. I think most of our energy was verbal.
