A good game all told. As a Cowboys man myself, I didn't really mind who won, but as I'd read good things about the relationship between the Saints and their home city of New Orleans after Katrina, I decided that such partisan support that I could muster should be bestowed with magnanimity upon them, technically the home team.

I will write a little more about the evening tomorrow when it is not quite so late, but here

In case you forgot who the 'home' team is...

I pressed the shutter switch just as Drew Brees fired off a pass. I'd spotted the receiver in the endzone at about the same time as he did. Unfortunately so did the bloke two rows down. Directly in front of him, completely blocked from my camera, is Lance Moore taking a touchdown reception...

LOL I would have been so cross! being a short person I usually have that view of most events.
Did you ask for his address so you can send him a perfect pic of his bald patch? or did you kick him in the back of the knee and tell him to be civilised and SIT DOWN!

To be fair, 20 years ago when I started taking an interest, they were a good team. They need to clone Tony Dorsett!

I don't think I've ever seen a QB throw a deliberate safety just to wind down the clock. It could have backfired, too if that long bomb at the end connected as it very nearly did!

Myself, Ephriam and Lupercal were there.
Very enjoyable day!
I am a 49ers fan and therefore decided for spurious reasons that I should support the Chargers. Poor buggers paid the price as my usual curse hit home regular as clockwork.
Even as a basically neutral fan I found it very absorbing and did find myself cheering every big plan that Mr Tomlinson did.
Found it a very enjoyable game although watching highlights on beeb 2 when I got back last night confirmed my suspicions that the pass interference against the Chargers deep in the end zone was a bit suspect.
Does the American support have Homer referee's as well?
