Argh. The frustration!!

I tell you, today the server has been up and down like a whore's drawers.
The amount of times I've nearly managed to get going is really quite high. The number of half-typed letters, or rather half-typed versions of the same letter I've started and lost is equally high.
I have managed to write, save and print one now, so I feel that I'm getting somewhere, albeit slowly.
The vagaries of Microsquash technology also mean that Word recognises and accesses my P:\ drive on the server (where I keep all my files), but explorer doesn't. Excel knows it's there, but reckons it's none of my business.
And guess who hasn't copied everything (read anything) over to his local D:\ drive for ages?
Quite right.
First thing tomorrow once I'm sure the network isn't coughing up blood, I'll be doing that I reckon.
