I have just found an ancient box of floppy disks and tried one out.

It hasn't rusted over; it still works. I can save up to ONE MEGABYTE of information at a time. Oh, the nostalgia: it's like 1998 all over again (which is about the last time I used a floppy disk...).

Not sure which I'm more surprised at, that the floppy disk still works... or that the drive does...

I am surprised - in order of precedence - that:

a) I still have floppy disks;
b) They are not just heaps of rust;
c) The drive still works!

I just peeked under my desk and found that I too have a floppy drive!

I stopped using mine because the last two puters haven't had a slot to post it in... still struggling with this new fangles Vista stuff.
I used to be able to print pictures using a wizard that was part of windozes but now I can't find how to do it and that grabby intrusive picasa keeps sticking its nose in and I can't get that to pirnt more than one picture at a time - I want my floppy drive back and an operating system that isn't so bossy.

Personally I think this is the NEW WAY to send restricted information on Excel spereadsheets.

No one else in the world will be able to read whats on the disc !!
