caddymanI have bought two new shirts from M&S and a tie to go with them. Not that I wear ties very often these days, but there you are.
They are a bit darker than I would have liked and have a hint of the pinstripe. I prefer plain colours. But when you have no time to go elsewhere and you are a lardy boy who despises white shirts, because the larger bloke only wears white shirts (presumably to give snow blindness to approaching people)1, you just have to put and shut up. I’ve mentioned this before, but for a country allegedly in the midst of an obesity epidemic, clothes for the properly proportioned are oddly hard to come by.
Anyway, one of the shirts is predominantly blue; the other is predominantly grey, with a hint of a blue pinstripe. The tie is a different shade of shiny grey. I was assured that it matches the shirts. I thought so, but I’m a bloke: what do I know?
There is also a mysterious message on the packages saying that the sleeves and body of the shirts are longer than normal.
If there are reports of a fat, shaved baboon attending a wedding in the Reading area tomorrow, you know who it refers to.
