I don’t know what anyone else does on their 51st birthday (and I realise that is rather distant in the future for many of my LJ friends), but I shall be at the Wembley Arena listening to music to invade Poland by. Yes, ellefurtle and I will be at a Rammstein gig. I must remember to get ear plugs.

Why do I have the feeling that I shall be substantially older than anyone else there?

I daresay that I shall be leaving my tweed jacket at home: this will be one either for my tatty old leather Lufthansa pilot’s jacket, or my U-Boat commander’s jacket depending on mood. I might have to take a party pack of Phyllosan, too. Do they still make that, or am I showing my age?

I have to admit, I wouldn't have put you down as a Rammstein fan.
However, you won't be the oldest there, a colleague of mine is gleeful about going to this, and he is certainly older than your good self.
So if you see a dour-looking Scot looking puzzled because he has a beaming smile, that'll be him.
