I need to find a new hobby.

I have just spent a couple of hours assembling a model that should have taken a half hour at most. Curse fiddly little pieces that don't fit, and fingers like bananas. And unhelpful pictures on the box which lend no clue to the mysteries of assembly.

I had to keep reminding myself I'd forked out £25 or the damned thing would have been punted across the room on several occasions.

I remember making Airfix models as a kid; they NEVER turned out like they looked on the box. I had this moon landing one, with The Eagle and I got gluey fingerprints all over the clear plastic bits. Still I always wondered if the "fix" part of "Airfix" referred to the paint... that stuff was heady to say the least.
