It has gone 4 am and I am still awake with rodent related insomnia.

The little bastards are refusing to go near the poison and seem to prefer to eat the carpet.

I have just ordered one of those ultrasonic deterrent devices online in the vaguest of hopes that it will actually do the trick. Oh yes, and a bucket of poison, too. I'll have the little gits one way or another.

Other than keeping foody stuff well sealed and cupboards don't have holes in, get some essential oils like peppermint and black pepper, possibly bergamot and give the floors and surfaces where they hang a right good wash with it, diluted with water of course, that generally works and its very invigorating too :)
