Anthisan works while it is daubed on the spot, but as soon as it washes of, or just rubs off, the itch returns. Right now, it is suitably daubed, and the itch recedeth...
Not a bad night, over all. I attended the book launch, and had a couple of pints. I have obtained one copy of each book, duly signed by the author in a crab-like hand that reads as though he has signed them 'Mrs Bradley'.* I understand that there is enough material to create a third volume, and if these sell, I expect he will launch into that project post-haste.

More generally,perspiring aspiring authors out there may like to know that Authors Online offer a publishing service which may or may not be of interest. I confess that I haven't read the terms and conditions, but then I am not currently looking to be published.
