The stadium looks great, though it will doubtless cost far more than budgeted for.
In the meantime, we get this blight on the skyline:

I do not automatically dislike modern art or sculptures, but there has to be something for the imagination to latch on to. I'm afraid this simply looks like a rusty crane that has melted in on itself as if someone has used a small nuclear device nearby on a building site and this just slumped.
A permanent blot on the landscape.
If it wasn't for the fact that despite posting it on 1 April, I saw it on 31 March, I'd assume it was a BBC josh...
