It goes somewhat against the grain to suggest anybody read the Daily Mail but I have just had this article emailed to me.

Being the Mail, I have to confess that I am sceptical about the accuracy, but we all like stupid answers to exam questions, and I don’t recall ever seeing these before, so they are at least, probably not recycled.

It’s hard to say which one I like the most, but the mental picture of big dames floating down the Mississippi as a flood relief measure makes me smile.

the 2(x+y) one's been around a few years and I use a variant of it as a starter joke when I teach binomial expansions.

I like the answer about Steve and his car though. I think it's much more sensible than the original stupid question.
