Wednesday, December 22nd, 2010 11:16 amI see from the news that there’s been an earthquake in Cumbria. Something like 3.6 on the Richter scale. My limited understanding of these things suggests that granny’s dentures may have rattled in their bedside glass, a couple of Christmas cards might have fallen from the mantle and some dust was dislodged from the top of the wardrobe.
Insurance companies are thought to be gearing themselves up for a quiet Christmas.
