I like the pipe detail on the under suit and the detail around the wrist and the arm. The face is totally recognisable but seems too slim to be menacing. I agree with the comments on the boots and lower leg detail - I would have desinged big integral chunky boots that went half way up lower leg maybe with some rocket/power detailing. The Robo-Flares don't do anything for me.
The abdomen section has much in common with many sci f suits most recently the Nomidian suits from ROTS. The comparison to Maria is interesting there are also design similarities to C3P0......though none with Metal Mickey which is a shame.
All in all it's a thumb up from me - Hopefully with the success and extra funding from the first series Neil Gorton/Millennium FX might get a free reign to design some of his creatures. He has a very recognisable style of creature (toothy and mean) which I reckon would rock!
