I like the pipe detail on the under suit and the detail around the wrist and the arm. The face is totally recognisable but seems too slim to be menacing. I agree with the comments on the boots and lower leg detail - I would have desinged big integral chunky boots that went half way up lower leg maybe with some rocket/power detailing. The Robo-Flares don't do anything for me.
The abdomen section has much in common with many sci f suits most recently the Nomidian suits from ROTS. The comparison to Maria is interesting there are also design similarities to C3P0......though none with Metal Mickey which is a shame.
All in all it's a thumb up from me - Hopefully with the success and extra funding from the first series Neil Gorton/Millennium FX might get a free reign to design some of his creatures. He has a very recognisable style of creature (toothy and mean) which I reckon would rock!
I like the head (even if it is a little reminiscent of Gen. Grievous) but the body is way too big-eyes-small-mouth for my tastes. Shame they decided to go for five fingers too.
There is a TARDIS money box available for about a tenner. It takes three hearing aid stylee batteries and does two or three quotes from the series or a dematerialisation sound when you shut the doors. And the light flashes.
Planet sell them mail order, but you should be able to get one from any good toy shop (I sound like an advert).
I think it's aimed at the 6-10 age bracket, so it's right up my street.
I'm not very keen - it does look like Maria from Metropolis and a bit camp at that. It's lost everything scary that the cybermen should be - part human.
What I liked about the "old" cybermen was that they looked like they were once human, and something very wrong happened to them, necessitating the mask and cybernetic "parts". That's what made them menacing to me. This looks like C3PO on a budget.

And let's hope they sort out that silly weakness to gold.
