There is a TARDIS money box available for about a tenner. It takes three hearing aid stylee batteries and does two or three quotes from the series or a dematerialisation sound when you shut the doors. And the light flashes.
Planet sell them mail order, but you should be able to get one from any good toy shop (I sound like an advert).
I think it's aimed at the 6-10 age bracket, so it's right up my street.
