At the Theatre
Friday, February 9th, 2007 10:45 am“Underneath the Lintel” is highly recommended. Richard Schiff is excellent as the obsessed librarian (I’m not sure about his “Dutch” accent, but there you go) and the 90 minute performance fairly rips along. The play is a mix of pathos and humour, Schiff switching effortlessly between the two regularly as the story unfolds.
There’s very little I can say without giving the story away; you should go and see it.
But have a meal first and don’t buy drinks in the theatre bar: £10.20 for a Grolsch and a glass of white wine.

As for the cost of drinks - that's scary.
