Postal strikes

The recent series of postal strikes has completely thrown my personal complaints and worry system into disarray.

I have been waiting for a book order from Lulu.com for a while now and also a CD from Play.com. With a couple of postal strikes sat squarely across the period these items have been in transit, I have lost all sense of whether they are late or not. I do not know whether or not I should be grumbling or whether I should remain patient. Probably the latter for now, but I have absolutely no feel for when I should start grumbling, or indeed, who to.

My Transylvania turned up today! Although the invoice said Levant and Thebes should've been in the box too, but I am putting that down to the formatting problems from earlier..

I must admit it came as a surprise because I comepletely forgotten I was expecting it!

Transylvania is the one I think that I'm expecting, too. As with you, I got horribly confused over what was left after all the cancellations etc.

I have about 4 orders on the way at the moment *shrug* just a case of waiting, I'm not worrying, if it's not here by the middle of Nov then I'll worry. It's more important that posties give that talentless, thoughtless twat Crozier a scare than I get hold of a few DVDs/CDs right NOW.

Isn't there a link on either web site, to track the items' progress? Over here, some sites will provide one, some won't.

Play.com does for larger consignments, but this is a CD of The Beatles Live at the BBC and small enough to go in letter post.

I shall have to check Lulu.com later on when I have a moment or two...
