I have to report that by the time I got home from work tonight, the mattress had succeeded in its bid for freedom.

It is no longer propped au galant against a neighbours dustbin. Nor is it anywhere else in the street.

It is free.

Expect a nationwide alert and mattress hunt.

Or not.

I'm still hoping for choccies and a postcard from Switzerland in due course.

well

I believe I saw your mattress going down the road today on the back of an old Dodge truck. The first clue was the trail of straw that the truck seemed to be leaving behind on it's journey to gosh knows where, I got sick of follow the old truck and passed it on I-44.

Wow. London to Oklahoma in 24 hours! that's some athletic mattress.

Mind you, if it's trying to get to Switzerland by that route it may take years for my postcard and chocolate to arrive....

I thought the same thing but there it was leaving it's trail of straw down the side of the highway. I think we need to send out a search party and a camera crew so we may watch it's travels over the next few years. *giggle*

No, I'm not loosing it I just have one heck of an imagination at times. *giggle giggle*

A weird imagination is a good thing to have. Entertaining, too.
